A family business
Welcome to the Rauchenkopfhütte.
Since 1983 it has been our goal to present our guests with the typical Austrian hospitality, thinking about everything, from food to decoration, from service to comfort. Every year, from December to April Rauchkopfhütte becomes our home – where we live and work full time.
We, Michael and Veronika, together with our five children: Michael junior, Sebastian, Verena, Tobias and Florian, work as a team and as a family, and hope to create and convey this friendly family atmosphere to all our guests.
We also count on a number of full time employees in our team who help us with the preparations, cooking and serving our guests, many of whom return year after year. We believe that by creating a friendly and comfortable environment to work in we also manage to create a nice atmosphere to welcoming our guests.
